Umeed - meaning hope in Urdu - is not just the name of this jewellery collection, it’s the story behind it.

Inspired by the lost jewels of the Partition, which were carefully buried in courtyards by families forced to flee - hidden with the umeed that one day they would return home to reclaim them - this collection carries that same spirit of unwavering hope. Generations later, many never made it back, but the hope remained, quietly alive in memory, in longing, in love.

In much the same way, Umeed was created and ready to make its way into the world, but life had other plans. Tensions arose, airspaces closed, roads were blocked, and once again, what was precious had to wait. We held onto hope - the same kind once buried with gold and rubies - that Umeed would find its way, that peace would return, and that dreams, however delayed, are never truly lost.

Every piece in this collection is a tribute to that waiting - for a loved one, for a moment, for a future shaped by love and peace. Because no matter how uncertain the times, umeed lives on - in every heart, in every home, and now, in every piece of this collection.
